Clear plastic topping used on the top side of fabrics such as terrycloth, velour, loosely knit pique, sweaters, corduroy, and fleece.  Improves embroidery quality by preventing stitches from sinking into the pile of the fabric. Can be used underneath areas of mylar if stitching on fabric types listed above.
